Terms of service
IR Fabrication — Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: August 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to purchases of products and services from Iron Resurrection LLC, doing business as IR Fabrication ("IR Fabrication," "we," "us," or "our"), including purchases made through our website.
By placing an order and accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, including any sections applicable to the products or services contained in your order.
1. General Order Terms
All orders are subject to acceptance by IR Fabrication.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including because of manufacturing limitations, unavailable materials, pricing or listing errors, inappropriate or unlawful content, intellectual-property concerns, suspected fraud, safety concerns, or an inability to reasonably complete the requested work.
If IR Fabrication cancels an order that has already been paid and the cancellation is not caused by an action or error of the customer, the applicable amount paid for products or services we will not provide will be refunded.
Many IR Fabrication products are individually manufactured. Minor variations between website examples, previous products, photographs, digital renderings, and finished products are normal.
2. Order Cancellations
Because IR Fabrication products are primarily made-to-order, custom-manufactured, or scheduled for production shortly after purchase, orders generally cannot be canceled once they have been placed.
By submitting an order, you acknowledge that your order may immediately enter our design, material preparation, purchasing, scheduling, or production process.
IR Fabrication may, at our sole discretion, approve a cancellation when circumstances allow. Submission of a cancellation request does not guarantee that an order can be canceled or refunded.
If IR Fabrication is unable to fulfill an order and cancels it, you will receive a refund for the portion of the order that IR Fabrication is unable to provide.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
3. Custom and Personalized Products
Many products sold by IR Fabrication are manufactured specifically for an individual customer.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including:
-
Names and spelling
-
Dates
-
Vehicle year, make, model, body style, and configuration
-
Dimensions
-
Photographs
-
Artwork
-
Logos
-
Colors
-
File selections
-
Personalization instructions
-
Other requested specifications
IR Fabrication is not responsible for errors in the finished product resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information supplied by the customer.
Custom manufacturing necessarily requires some interpretation of photographs, artwork, and customer instructions. Reasonable differences resulting from the conversion of customer information into a manufacturable design are not necessarily defects.
4. Proofs and Design Approval
Unless a product listing specifically states otherwise, IR Fabrication does not provide design proofs before production.
Website examples, photographs, digital renderings, previous products, and product mockups should not be interpreted as a production proof unless specifically identified as one.
If a proof is specifically included or provided for an order, the customer is responsible for reviewing all spelling, dimensions, layout, artwork, and other visible details before approving it.
Once a customer approves a proof, IR Fabrication is not responsible for errors or design characteristics that were reasonably visible in the approved proof.
5. Customer-Supplied Photographs, Artwork and Logos
Customers may provide photographs, logos, artwork, drawings, designs, trademarks, files, names, vehicle images, or other materials ("Customer Content") for use in custom products.
By submitting Customer Content, you represent that you own the content or otherwise have sufficient permission, authorization, license, or legal right to have IR Fabrication use and reproduce the content for your requested product.
You authorize IR Fabrication to reproduce, crop, trace, simplify, vectorize, digitize, resize, modify, convert, or otherwise process Customer Content as reasonably necessary to manufacture your order.
IR Fabrication does not independently verify ownership of every photograph, logo, design, trademark, or other item submitted by customers.
Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions for Customer Content and for claims arising from their unauthorized submission or use of third-party content.
IR Fabrication reserves the right to refuse content or an order that we reasonably believe may violate applicable law, intellectual-property rights, or our business policies.
6. IR Fabrication Designs and Digital Files
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, purchasing a physical product does not include ownership or delivery of the underlying:
-
DXF files
-
SVG or vector files
-
CAD files
-
STL or other 3D models
-
Scan data
-
Production files
-
Templates
-
Manufacturing drawings
-
Digital artwork
-
Other design or manufacturing files created by IR Fabrication
Custom design charges compensate IR Fabrication for the work necessary to create or prepare a product for manufacturing and do not automatically constitute the purchase of the underlying digital files.
Original designs and manufacturing files created by IR Fabrication may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold digitally, or used by another manufacturer without permission from IR Fabrication, except to the extent the customer independently owns applicable underlying intellectual property.
7. Sheet Metal Products and Normal Manufacturing Characteristics
IR Fabrication metal products are individually manufactured from sheet metal using processes that may include CNC plasma cutting, grinding, sanding, forming, welding, cleaning, and powder coating.
These products should not be expected to have the same surface characteristics as machined components, automotive body panels, or automotive-quality painted finishes.
Sheet metal and fabricated products may exhibit minor:
-
Surface texture or mill characteristics
-
Scratches, marks, or impressions in the base material
-
Thickness variation within normal material tolerances
-
Slight waviness or distortion
-
Edge characteristics associated with thermal cutting
-
Small variations in cut dimensions or geometry
-
Grinding, sanding, or preparation marks
-
Minor heat-related distortion, particularly in thin or intricate areas
Reasonable characteristics of this type are part of the fabrication process and are not considered defects when they do not materially affect the appearance, function, or intended use of the product.
Dimensions stated for decorative products are nominal unless specifically identified as critical dimensions or tolerances.
8. CNC Plasma-Cut Products
CNC plasma cutting places physical limitations on the amount and size of detail that can be incorporated into sheet-metal artwork.
IR Fabrication may simplify, enlarge, connect, bridge, fill, reposition, or remove details when reasonably necessary to create a manufacturable and structurally sound product.
Small details visible in photographs or artwork may therefore not appear in the finished product.
Cut lines, openings, lettering, wheels, windows, body lines, decorative elements, and other features may be modified to prevent loose or structurally weak sections of metal.
These manufacturing-related modifications are not considered defects.
9. Automotive Silhouettes and Vehicle Artwork
IR Fabrication automotive silhouettes are artistic representations intended to depict the recognizable shape, body style, stance, and visual characteristics of a vehicle.
Unless specifically authorized or otherwise stated, our metal vehicle silhouettes do not contain branded manufacturer logos, model logos, badges, emblems, trademarks, or branded names as part of the finished design.
Elements intentionally omitted or simplified may include:
-
Manufacturer emblems
-
Model-name lettering
-
Grille badges
-
Fender badges
-
Hood emblems
-
Wheel-center logos
-
Branded decals or graphics
-
Other trademarked or branded identifiers
A reference photograph containing these items does not mean they will appear on the finished product.
Customers should expect the vehicle to be represented primarily by its physical appearance rather than branded identifiers.
Automotive artwork must also comply with the physical requirements of CNC plasma cutting. Details may therefore be simplified, connected, bridged, enlarged, filled, or removed to create a structurally sound single-piece metal product.
IR Fabrication does not guarantee reproduction of every detail visible in a customer's vehicle or reference photograph.
10. Powder-Coated Finishes
Powder coating is a durable protective and decorative coating for metal. It is not represented as a flawless automotive-show-quality painted finish.
We take reasonable steps to properly prepare and coat our products. However, the underlying steel, fabrication process, coating materials, and application process can result in minor variations.
Normal characteristics may include minor:
-
Surface texture or orange peel
-
Dust or small particles
-
Variations in gloss or texture
-
Surface characteristics originating in the underlying steel
-
Grinding or preparation marks visible beneath the coating
-
Differences between coating batches
-
Coating buildup around edges, corners, holes, or detailed cut areas
Reasonable characteristics of this nature are not considered manufacturing defects.
Powder coating substantially protects the underlying steel but does not make steel permanently rust-proof.
Scratches, chips, mounting damage, prolonged moisture, salt, chemicals, weather, or other environmental conditions can compromise the coating and allow corrosion to develop.
Customers should touch up damaged coating when underlying steel becomes exposed.
Colors displayed on phones, tablets, computers, photographs, digital renderings, and other screens are approximate. Actual color, gloss, and texture may vary.
11. Raw Metal, Patina and Specialty Finishes
Raw steel and specialty-finished products may intentionally contain variations in coloration, texture, mill scale, oxidation, markings, heat effects, or other surface characteristics.
Hand-applied, distressed, aged, patina, torch-finished, or similar finishes are intentionally variable.
No two specialty-finished pieces should be expected to look exactly alike.
Photographs and samples represent the general appearance of these finishes rather than an exact pattern or color guarantee.
Unless otherwise stated, clear coats and other protective finishes slow environmental changes but do not guarantee that raw or patinated steel will never change color, oxidize, or develop corrosion.
12. Sublimated Aluminum Photo Products
Sublimated photo products are produced using digital images and a heat-transfer manufacturing process.
Colors, brightness, contrast, saturation, and overall image appearance may vary between a customer's electronic display and the finished physical product.
Images may require cropping, resizing, repositioning, color adjustment, enhancement, or other processing to fit the dimensions of the selected product.
The quality of the finished product depends in part upon the quality of the source image.
IR Fabrication cannot guarantee high-quality reproduction from photographs that are:
-
Low resolution
-
Blurry
-
Out of focus
-
Heavily compressed
-
Poorly exposed
-
Extremely dark or bright
-
Damaged
-
Otherwise unsuitable for enlargement
Customers submitting photographs are responsible for having the necessary rights or permission to reproduce those photographs.
13. 3D-Printed Products
3D printing is an additive manufacturing process.
3D-printed products may exhibit characteristics including:
-
Visible layer lines
-
Seams
-
Support marks
-
Minor surface irregularities
-
Small dimensional variations
-
Differences between supported and unsupported surfaces
-
Minor cosmetic differences between otherwise identical prints
These are normal characteristics of 3D printing and are not necessarily defects.
Unless a specific tolerance has been expressly agreed upon, dimensions should be considered reasonably approximate rather than precision-machined tolerances.
Material properties vary based upon material type, geometry, orientation, environment, temperature, loading, and other factors.
Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their intended use unless IR Fabrication has expressly agreed to design or engineer the product for a specific application.
Unless specifically designed and sold for such use, IR Fabrication 3D-printed products should not be assumed suitable for safety-critical, medical, aerospace, high-pressure, extreme-temperature, structural, or other applications where failure could reasonably cause injury or significant property damage.
14. Customer-Supplied 3D and Manufacturing Files
When a customer supplies an STL, STEP, CAD model, DXF, SVG, vector file, or other manufacturing file, IR Fabrication generally manufactures the product based upon the information contained in that file.
The customer is responsible for the:
-
Geometry
-
Dimensions
-
Design
-
Fitment
-
Accuracy
-
Structural suitability
-
Intended application
of customer-supplied files.
Unless specifically contracted to provide such services, IR Fabrication is not responsible for engineering, testing, redesigning, or validating customer-supplied designs.
Repairs, modifications, or design work necessary to make a supplied file manufacturable may require additional charges.
15. 3D Scanning
3D scanning creates a digital representation of a physical object and does not inherently produce a perfectly dimensionally exact reproduction.
Accuracy can be affected by factors including:
-
Object size
-
Geometry
-
Surface finish
-
Reflectivity
-
Accessibility
-
Scanner line-of-sight
-
Hidden features
-
Fine details
-
Scanning conditions
Unless specifically included in the purchased service, scan data should not be considered a fully engineered or manufacturing-ready CAD model.
Raw scan data may require additional cleanup, modeling, surface reconstruction, dimensional verification, or engineering before it can be used to manufacture a replacement component.
Customers are responsible for independently verifying critical dimensions unless IR Fabrication has specifically agreed to provide dimensional verification.
16. Reverse Engineering and Reproduction Parts
When IR Fabrication is hired to reproduce or develop a part from an existing physical component, scan, photograph, measurement, or customer-supplied model, some interpretation may be required.
Wear, damage, distortion, previous repairs, manufacturing tolerances, or incomplete geometry in an original component can affect the reproduction.
Unless specifically contracted otherwise, IR Fabrication does not guarantee that a reproduced component will be identical to the original manufacturer's engineering specifications.
Fitment testing and additional revisions may be necessary for certain reproduction components.
Parts intended for safety-critical applications require appropriate independent evaluation before use.
17. Lead Times
Lead times displayed on our website, order confirmation, invoice, estimate, or other communication are estimates and are not guaranteed completion or delivery dates unless IR Fabrication specifically agrees otherwise in writing.
Production can be affected by:
-
Order volume
-
Material availability
-
Supplier delays
-
Equipment issues
-
Shipping delays
-
Weather
-
Design complexity
-
Production requirements
-
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
If a product is needed for a specific event or deadline, customers should contact IR Fabrication before placing the order.
Acceptance of an order does not constitute a guarantee that the order will arrive before a particular date unless IR Fabrication expressly agrees to that deadline.
18. Shipping
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
IR Fabrication is not responsible for carrier delays after an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier.
Customers should inspect their order promptly upon delivery.
If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, customers should photograph:
-
The shipping container
-
Exterior damage
-
Interior packaging
-
Shipping label
-
Damaged product
-
Any other relevant areas
Packaging and damaged products should not be discarded until the claim has been resolved because the shipping carrier may require inspection.
19. Lost, Stolen or Misdelivered Packages
IR Fabrication will reasonably assist customers with carrier claims when appropriate.
Once tracking information records a package as delivered to the address provided with the order, IR Fabrication is not automatically responsible for theft, disappearance, or loss occurring after delivery.
Customers are responsible for providing a reasonably secure delivery location.
20. Returns and Refunds
Because the majority of IR Fabrication products are made-to-order, customized, personalized, or specially manufactured, sales are generally final.
Products may not be returned simply because a customer changes their mind, no longer needs the product, or has a subjective preference different from the product that was ordered and correctly manufactured.
If IR Fabrication makes a covered manufacturing error, the issue will be handled under our 30-Day Limited Warranty.
Nothing in this policy eliminates rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
21. 30-Day Limited Warranty
IR Fabrication warrants products we manufacture against defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from the date the product is delivered to the customer.
Customers must contact IR Fabrication within the 30-day warranty period and provide reasonable documentation of the claimed defect, including photographs when requested.
